Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising fromthese terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

Payments & Ownership

We accept online card payments. For custom orders, offline inquiries, or orders placed outside the e-shop ecosystem, bank transfer on a Pro-Forma basis is also accepted and will be charged before production.
All products remain the property of Studio Tenke until full payment has been received.

Taxes, Duties, and Customs

EU Customers:
In accordance with the EU OSS (One Stop Shop) regulations, prices for customers within the EuropeanUnion include VAT calculated at the applicable rate of the customer’s destination country.

 

Non-EU Customers:
For orders shipped outside the European Union, prices are exclusive of VAT and import taxes. Anycustoms duties, import VAT, or local administrative fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer and arepayable in addition to our invoice price.

Shipping & Damage in Transit

We offer free standard shipping on all orders.


Lost in Transit:
If your item is confirmed as lost in transit, we guarantee a full refund or replacement.


Damaged on Arrival:
If your item arrives damaged, we will dispatch a replacement or suitable solution without waiting forthe carrier’s claim process.


Important for All Buyers:
If a package arrives visibly damaged, the customer must request a damage confirmation from the courier and notify us immediately at hello@studio-tenke.com.
 

B2B & Interior Designers Inspection Duty

Business entities, professionals, and interior designers purchasing under a company registration or VATnumber are required to inspect goods within 48 hours of delivery.
Any transit damage, missing parts, or discrepancies must be reported within this timeframe. Claimsreported after this period may be rejected where timely inspection was not reasonably possible.

Returns (14-Day Money-Back Guarantee)

You have the right to return any item within 14 days of delivery for a refund without providing anyreason.
This right applies to all standard, custom-made, and bespoke products.
Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and adequately packed for safe transport.Original packaging is strongly recommended.
The customer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond whatis necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Custom-Made & Bespoke Products

For internal purposes, Studio Tenke distinguishes between custom-made and bespoke products. Thisclassification is used solely for production and order handling and does not affect the customer’sstatutory rights.


Custom-made products
refer to standard designs modified through selectable options such as size,finish, color, or configuration, while remaining based on existing product designs.


Bespoke products
refer to fully or partially unique pieces manufactured specifically for a particularproject, including but not limited to non-standard ceiling canopies, project-specific dimensions, or otheruniquely fabricated components.

Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery in accordance withapplicable EU consumer protection laws. This right applies to both custom-made and bespoke products.

Return of Bespoke Products & Value Adjustment

We understand that purchasing handmade lighting online requires confidence. Therefore, wevoluntarily extend our 14-day return policy to bespoke and custom-made products as well.
Bespoke products must be returned unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and in a condition suitable forresale.
Where bespoke products include non-reusable or project-specific components (for example customceiling canopies or other uniquely fabricated parts), a reasonable deduction of up to 30% of thepurchase price may be applied to reflect their diminished resale value.
In such cases, the customer may retain the non-reusable bespoke component (e.g. ceiling canopy),while receiving a refund reduced accordingly.
All remaining components must be returned in full, unused, and undamaged condition.

Production & Delivery

All products are handmade to order.
Standard production lead time is approximately 6 weeks from receipt of payment. Production timesshown on the website are estimates only.
Delays caused by suppliers, logistics providers, customs procedures, or force majeure events do notconstitute grounds for cancellation or compensation.
Customers will be informed of significant delays.

Shipping Methods

Deliveries within the European Union are typically shipped via DPD.
International shipments outside the EU are typically shipped via FedEx, UPS, or comparableinternational couriers.

Installation

All lighting fixtures must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician in accordance withapplicable electrical regulations in the destination country.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all installation points, ceilings, and suspensionstructures are structurally suitable to safely support the weight of the fixture.
Studio Tenke is not liable for damages resulting from improper installation or failure to followinstallation instructions.

Warranty & Complaints

In accordance with EU regulations, we provide a 2-year (24-month) warranty against manufacturingdefects from the date of delivery.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, or normalwear and tear.
This warranty does not affect any mandatory statutory rights granted to consumers under applicablelaw.
Valid warranty claims will be resolved within a reasonable time by repair, replacement, or anotherappropriate remedy.

Quality & Handmade Nature

Minor imperfections, air bubbles, and slight variations in size, shape, or color are natural characteristicsof handmade glass production and are not considered defects.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including product designs, photographs, drawings, renders, and text, is theintellectual property of Studio Tenke and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior writtenconsent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Tenke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, orconsequential damages arising from the use of its products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.

Dispute Resolution

We always encourage customers to contact us directly first so that any issue can be resolved quickly andamicably.
Consumers may also use available official EU consumer dispute resolution mechanisms whereapplicable.
